 Terri Pierce Paralegal & Office Manager Terri Pierce is a native of Oklahoma. She came to the mountains of Western North Carolina by way of Dallas, San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale. She has been with Kight Law Office for eight years. She enjoys camping, golf, reading, music, gardening and horror movies. She makes her home in Waynesville, North Carolina with her family and a menagerie of animals. She has two children, Cameron, a professional snowboarder in Salt Lake City, and Alyssa, who attends Western Carolina University.  Marc Kornegay Legal Assisant Marc Kornegay is a North Carolina native from Winston-Salem. He moved to Asheville in the Spring of 2008. The vibrant downtown and the access to the great outdoors brought him here. Marc is a senior at UNC-Asheville. He is an international studies major and a French minor. He plans to attend law school in the Fall of 2010. His interest is in international law and human rights with the hope of using his legal degree to bring about positive change in the world. He wants to one day work in an embassy. He also enjoys reading about colonial and post-colonial strife, studying historical movements, experiencing different cultures, engaging in diplomatic comprises and learning about sustainable development.  Emily Palumbo Paralegal Emily Palumbo was born in Sarasota, Florida where she spent her childhood enjoying the gulf coast beaches. When she was 12, her family stumbled upon Brevard, NC while on family trip and instantly fell in love. They relocated within a month, and she has always felt blessed for their decision. After taking a semester off to explore Boston, Emily relocated to Asheville to be closer to her family. She recently graduated from UNCA with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, Film and Visual Media. She is taking a break from being a full-time student to explore her career options. She enjoys making and watching movies, cooking, reading, photography and creative writing. She hopes to someday attend graduate school once she finds her calling.
