Terri Pierce is a native of Oklahoma. She came to the North Carolina Mountains by way of Dallas, San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale, where she took a hiatus from the legal business to work as a flight attendant.

Terri attended Rose State College in Oklahoma and The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she studied history and literature.
She enjoys camping, reading, music and horror movies. She makes her home in Waynesville, North Carolina with her family and a menagerie of animals. 

She has two children, Cameron, a snowboarder in Salt Lake City, and Alyssa, who will be attending North Carolina State after graduation.

Shawna Carroll was born in San Diego, California but spent her early childhood in Charleston, South Carolina. When she was 9 years old, she moved to Paris where she lived for 8 years. She traveled around different parts of France and through Spain, Italy, Scotland and England.

Shawna has been living in the Asheville area for 5 years and currently lives in North Asheville. She's a student at UNCA where she is studying international studies. After graduation she is thinking about moving back to Paris, moving to New York City or joining the Peace Corps.

She enjoys traveling and foreign languages and hopes one day to travel around the world.
